Family with children deserves better

The staff was really nice, Alice was the most enjoyable lady during breakfast, worked hard to keep things running smoothly! Plus, the location is great, we enjoyed the pool which was always clean and sparkling.

great access to parks and iconic attractions nearby

I truly appreciated how close I was to Marion Sansom Park, just a little over 2 km away, and also enjoyed the short drive to Burger's Lake, which made my city strolls feel complete and effortless. the free breakfast was a nice perk after all my adventures in the area, making each morning a delightful start to my explorations.

Staff members consistently provided excellent service. a standout was the admirable Alice, who managed the breakfast area with warmth and efficiency. However, the room desperately needs an upgrade—furniture is worn, and some areas, like the elevator and bathroom, were unclean. The barking dog next door disrupted the peace, and the plumbing in the room was problematic.

Cozy stay, friendly staff, with a clean breakfast area that Alice efficiently managed while providing great selections to start the day and ensuring everything was in order throughout the duration of our trip.

It was perfect.

The rooms offer a decent space with comfortable beds, allowing for a solid night's rest if you manage to drown out the highway noise. The hotel also provides a variety of breakfast options that cater to different tastes, making it a good way to start your day before heading out.

Staying on the third floor right above a busy highway meant the traffic noise crept in, leading to restless nights. It was tough to catch some sleep, especially with heavy vehicles zooming by late into the night. The air conditioning could have used a tune-up too. it didn’t do a great job of keeping the room cool. Also, the elevator situation is a bit of a bummer given the single unit for the entire place, which can lead to long waits during peak hours. Lastly, housekeeping left something to be desired, as I noticed some areas hadn't seen a good clean in a while.

The staff went above and beyond during our stay! They provided us with a warm environment as we gathered for a family funeral, offering us food and support when we needed it most. The cleanliness of the room was commendable, creating a comfortable space to relax during a difficult time.

Our stay was awesome! The room was nicely cleaned and comfy, and the pool area was a hit with the kids! Super close to a Denny's for late-night snacks. Loved the no-cost parking too.

my stay at holiday inn express was fantastic! the room was clean and well maintained. the beds were super comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job. the hot breakfast was a highlight with options like sausage, bacon, and pancakes. it's also conveniently close to downtown.

would recommend.
